LOCARNO . Winter/Spring 2024
Once again in residence at Momento Ceramics in Locarno, Switzerland, in a beautiful new location just beyond the Citta Vecchia, I continued to focus on relationships, women, couples...and created a series of small, painterly vessels. I spent two months playing with mixed clays, layers of surface history, colored slips and glazes. And lots of hair. Near the end of my stay, I was thrilled to be able to teach a workshop, introducing ideas about approaching ceramics with a painter's eye.
