LOCARNO . A Locarno, Con Amore . Spring 2025
In both my watercolor paintings and my ceramics, cairns, stone walls and freeform balancing shapes are motifs I return to again and again. My Locarnese works evoke ancient vessels, beached on the shore, supported by piles of small rocks and cairns. They are also candleholders: symbols of devotion, ritual, and markers of time and place.
