LOCARNO . A Locarno, Con Amore . Spring 2025
In my third residency @ Momento Ceramics, I created a collection of 11 pieces entitled A Locarno, Con Amore.

In both my watercolor paintings and my ceramics, cairns, stone walls and freeform balancing shapes are motifs I return to again and again. My Locarnese works evoke ancient vessels, beached on the shore, supported by piles of small rocks and cairns. They are also candleholders: symbols of devotion, ritual, and markers of time and place. My collection is an offering of light, born of joy, discovery and love for a city which holds a special place in my heart.
